Honors students from Kutaisi were awarded laptops
First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Ketevan Natriashvili awarded personal computers to 99 tenth-grade students of Kutaisi public schools.
This year, a total of 1,626 successful students will be awarded computers across Georgia. In 2014, the beneficiaries of the program are defined as public school students who completed the basic education stage last academic year and achieved a grade point average of 10 without rounding.
The student encouragement project by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is implemented annually and aims to increase student motivation and strengthen learning/teaching methods based on information and communication technologies. Increasing the accessibility of modern technologies provides talented and hardworking youth with even greater opportunities to achieve success.
