Lia Gigauri continues meetings with teachers

Lia Gigauri, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, has this time met with public school principals and teachers of Ozurgeti. At the beginning of the meeting, Lia Gigauri introduced the audience to all the novelties that have been implemented in the direction of general education and what is planned for the future.

The educators participating in the working meeting had the opportunity to hear answers directly from the Deputy Minister to all the questions of their interest. According to Nino Kvergelidze, a teacher at the Ozurgeti Village Public School, – it was an interesting meeting with Ms. Lia Gigauri, who spoke extensively and comprehensively about the innovations in general education and the new system of career planning for educators. A warm and heartfelt attitude towards the teacher was also felt throughout the Deputy Minister's speech.

On the same day, Lia Gigauri also attended a concert dedicated to Teacher's Professional Day and presented laptops as gifts to distinguished tenth-grade students of the Ozurgeti Municipality.
