Participants of the "Georgian Language for Future Success" program were awarded certificates
The "Georgian Language for Future Success" program is implemented by the LEPL National Center for Teacher Professional Development. The project focuses on teaching the state language to ethnic minorities living in Georgia, and one of its important components is dispatching Georgian-speaking teachers to non-Georgian-speaking schools in Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kvemo Kartli, and Kakheti.
Volunteer teachers participating in the program live with local host families. Alongside conducting Georgian language lessons, they engage schoolchildren in non-formal education, establish clubs, and help family members learn the Georgian language during their shared residency.
Georgian citizens holding a bachelor's degree whose native language is Georgian are eligible to participate in the program. After working for one academic year in a non-Georgian-speaking school, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia funds those wishing to continue their studies in a master's program with a 100% state master's study grant.
