Within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Latvia and other members of the government to Georgia, a meeting with representatives of the education sectors of the two countries was held today.
In a round-table format, President of the Republic of Latvia Andris Bērziņš, Minister of Education and Science Mārīte Seile and First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Ketevan Natriashvili met with representatives of higher education institutions of Latvia and Georgia and reviewed the presentations delivered by them.
During the working meeting, future prospects of cooperation in the field of education between Georgia and Latvia were discussed, along with ongoing joint projects and student and academic staff exchange programs.
