The draft of the National Qualifications Framework, aligned with the European framework, has been developed

Pursuant to Articles 358 and 361 of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Georgia, Georgia shall approximate its national educational legislation with the European Union legislative acts specified in Annex XXXII of the Agreement. These include EU documents concerning qualifications and quality assurance.
In 2014 (June-December), the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement implemented the project "Ensuring the Development of the National Qualifications Framework and its Compatibility with the European Qualifications Framework," which aimed to develop a draft National Qualifications Framework compatible with the European Qualifications Framework.
The following drafts have been developed within the framework of the project:
1. Comparative Analysis of International and National Qualifications Frameworks;
2. Draft National Qualifications Framework;
3. Action Plan to Support the Implementation of the National Qualifications Framework.
