Unprecedented cooperation with Turkey's largest company
The main objective of the visit was to conclude a memorandum and sign a future cooperation contract regarding the execution of main water pipeline welding projects underway in Ureki and the involvement of college graduates in the project's implementation.
The agreement signed between Public College "Spektri" and Turkey's largest holding "Turan-Borfit" provides for supplying college students with practical internships, retraining them with modern programs, upgrading their qualifications at the manufacturing facility in Istanbul, and certifying them. This process will take place at the "Turan-Borfit" base, and as a result, graduates with good education and high qualifications will easily be able to find employment. Within the framework of the event, a memorandum was also signed between "Spektri" and the company "Peri".
The aforementioned cooperation was carried out based on the college's partnership with the company "Geoturan". The new project "Euromaster" is already being implemented at the college, a theoretical and practical laboratory has been opened, and the college has been equipped with modern technologies.
The company "Geoturan" is a new challenge in the Georgian market. The company's activities include: butt and electrofusion welding and reconstruction of pipes of any diameter, water and gas leak detection and servicing, cleaning and reconstruction of clogged sewage and storm drainage systems, pipe telediagnostics, locating buried wells and cables with special equipment, cleaning and diagnostics of central heating and air conditioning systems, etc.
