At the meeting, the Minister spoke in detail about the new teacher professional development scheme as a unified system, within which a comprehensive assessment of teachers' competencies and continuous development are ensured, as well as the pathways for entering the profession and the stages of a educator's career advancement.
Considering that the teaching profession is regulated and the professional development of educators is essential, it must be determined in what format private schools will be involved in the new system โ these and other important issues related to the scheme were discussed at the meeting.
It is noteworthy that the new scheme also provides for the preparation of pedagogical personnel in line with modern requirements, and for this purpose, teacher preparation programs at the university level will be fundamentally transformed. Upon completion of the new bachelor's programs, graduates will possess both subject-specific, methodical, and practical knowledge. In the future, there will be a demand for such qualified personnel in both public and private schools.
