The new scheme was discussed at the Teacher House

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Giorgi Sharvashidze and Director of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development Giorgi Machabeli met with representatives of organizations working on education issues to discuss the new scheme for teacher activities, professional development, and career advancement.

The purpose of the meeting was to inform interested organizations, provide them with detailed information in a Q&A format, and listen to and take into account their opinions and remarks.

The meeting participants presented interesting proposals regarding the teacher retraining cycle, training programs, textbooks, and other important issues. They also expressed their readiness for greater involvement in the ongoing processes within the education sector.

This was the first such meeting with representatives of organizations working on education issues, and similar meetings will be held intensively in the future.
