Presentation of the "School Readiness Program" was held
The goal of the school readiness program is to develop the child's motor, social, emotional and cognitive skills, communication and speech, and the willpower necessary for learning, as well as to facilitate the transition period from kindergarten to school.
The school readiness program implies exclusively an educational component. It covers the following main issues: educational objectives of the school readiness program; organization of school readiness groups; structure and themes of the school readiness program; samples of activities to be used during the learning process in the school readiness group.
The school readiness program heavily features thinking games and activities that are interesting and entertaining, accustom children to develop rules themselves and follow social routines, encourage them to be inventors and creators, develop critical thinking and essential life skills, provide information about personal safety, and more.
The school readiness program also offers educators a novel approach to organizing the upbringing process. It provides specific advice for daily, weekly, and monthly activities, and also offers the educator a valuable resource in the form of a list of themes and the activities required to implement them. The minimum duration of the school readiness program is 30 weeks with a daily hourly load of 3 hours without meals.
The school readiness group may function either integrated into preschool education institution programs or independently. The school readiness program may be implemented in a preschool education institution or in another type of building that meets the requirements of this program.
Invitees to the presentation included: State Representatives (9 Governors), representatives of self-governing city assemblies (Sakrebulo) and mayor's offices / kindergarten associations, parliamentarians, and representatives of various governmental, non-governmental, and international organizations.
