The Minister awarded the successful educator

Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze once again congratulated teachers on the New Year, this time from the home of a successful teacher. Today, the Minister visited Mikheil Gabeskiria, a physics teacher at Tbilisi Public School No. 199 named after Komarov, at his home to personally congratulate him on the New Year 2016 and present him with an award – the "Amagdari" badge – for his successful pedagogical career.

Mikheil Gabeskiria himself graduated from the Komarov Physics and Mathematics School, and subsequently the Faculty of Physics and postgraduate studies at Tbilisi State University named after Ivane Javakhishvili, holding a PhD in Physical Sciences. For years, he engaged in fruitful scientific activities at Tbilisi State University, and since 2011, he has been a teacher at the Tbilisi Physics and Mathematics Public School No. 199 named after Komarov. Mikheil Gabeskiria’s students successfully participate in both national and international Olympiads, returning as winners. Tamar Sanikidze thanked Mikheil Gabeskiria for his contribution to the upbringing and education of the younger generation and wished him future success.
