The school rehabilitation process continues

The improvement of educational institution infrastructure across Georgia is carried out on a continuous basis. Large-scale rehabilitation works of various types have already been completed in up to 500 public schools, while works are currently underway in nearly 100 schools.
Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, visited Tbilisi Public School No. 65 today and personally inspected the completed renovation works. For years, the infrastructure of this school was completely dilapidated, as a result of which the number of students decreased from 800 to 300. Today, the school is almost fully rehabilitated; the classrooms and corridors have been renovated, the exterior stained glass windows and emergency exit doors have been replaced, the restrooms have been updated, and a modern heating system has been installed.
