Meeting with Gurjaani School Teachers

Lia Gigauri, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, met with public school teachers of the Gurjaani Municipality. The meeting was also attended by Nukri Kantaria, Member of the Education Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, representatives of local self-government, and Giorgi Machabeli, Director of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development.

During the meeting, Lia Gigauri briefly spoke about the ongoing innovations in the education system and dedicated the majority of the time to the topics concerning which the teachers had questions. The largest number of questions were raised regarding the Teacher Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme, to which the Deputy Minister and the representative of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development provided comprehensive answers.
