College "New Wave" will be equipped with universal design
Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Lia Gigauri inspected the ongoing renovation works at the Kobuleti Public College "New Wave". The rehabilitation of the academic building and the hotel-type student dormitory, as well as the adaptation process for students with special educational needs, are currently underway at the college. This involves arranging the existing physical environment based on the principle of accessibility for all.
Increasing access to education is a main priority of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. In this regard, functional educational infrastructure is of vital importance. Therefore, the rehabilitation of educational institutions and the process of equipping them with universal design are underway continuously throughout Georgia.
