A private company employed students retrained through a vocational program
With the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the Georgian-American engineering and drafting company "Escad Georgia" and the public college "Academy of Information Technology" jointly implemented a training course in the engineering-drafting program "AutoCAD" and drafting, following which 8 out of 12 students were employed by the company itself. Graduates were awarded certificates for the successful completion of the short-term course.
The aim of the course was to train "AutoCAD" specialists and secure their employment in the private sector. Given the current market demand and the scarcity of qualified "AutoCAD" specialists, retraining personnel in this direction is a matter of paramount importance for both the state and the private sector.
The joint project between "Escad Georgia" and the "Academy of Information Technology" will continue. The launch of the training course for a new cohort is planned for mid-February. Upon successful completion of the training course, graduates will master the AutoCAD program and the fundamental principles of drafting disciplines, becoming qualified and competitive specialists.
