The joint project of the vocational college "Modus" and a private company has been completed
A summary event has been held for the joint project between the vocational college "Modus" and the company "Georgian Manganese" on the use of distance learning methods. The project lasted for 9 months in Rustavi, Zestaponi, and Chiatura within the framework of the Millennium Challenge Fund’s small grants competition.
Within the framework of the project, vocational training for auto mechanic and electrician professions was conducted remotely, and 40 employees of "Georgian Manganese" were retrained in these specialties. College teachers instructed the employees using Georgian-language distance learning software and interactive simulators.
The project aims to increase the accessibility of vocational education regardless of the physical location of the student and teacher. The project proves that through the use of modern technologies, knowledge can be transferred to any geographical area from any educational institution that possesses such knowledge and experience.
