Students from various public schools in Telavi met with school resource officers (Mandaturs). The meeting was also attended by students, parents, and local journalists from Kakheti.
The Mandaturs provided comprehensive answers to all raised questions, explaining the essence of the Mandatur Service and their functions and duties. The Mandaturs shared their personal experiences of working in Tbilisi schools with the students. The meeting lasted for two hours.
The meeting between the Mandaturs and students was implemented with the support of the USAID Center for Civic Engagement.
According to the Mandaturs, such gatherings are essential as they allow students and parents to directly familiarize themselves with the specifics of the Mandaturs' work.
As stated by the Mandaturs, they are ready to provide comprehensive answers to any questions from both students and parents. The Mandaturs plan to hold similar gatherings in various other cities as well.
