Meeting with International Experts on National Assessment
Tamar Mamukelashvili, Deputy Director of the Center, and staff members of the National Assessment Division held meetings with education consultant Thomas Kellaghan and Vincent Greaney, Director of the Educational Research Centre at St Patrick's College, Dublin. The renowned experts are interested in the ongoing process of national assessments in Georgia and the activities implemented by the Center. The experts shared their experience with the Center's staff and provided interesting recommendations regarding the planning and implementation of national assessments. The foreign experts also delivered a presentation on classroom assessment.
The meetings with the international experts continued throughout the week. Thomas Kellaghan and Vincent Greaney met with members of the national assessment subject groups and other invited guests. The meetings focused on individual stages of the national assessment and ways to guide the process.
