The mobility process is starting
By the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the student mobility procedure has been simplified, and the student mobility period for the 2012 autumn semester has been set from August 1 to August 24.
Students wishing to transfer from one higher education institution to another must register their choice on the electronic portal, which will be active from August 1 to August 24 on the website of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia - www.eqe.ge.
The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of the Ministry has technically significantly refined the operation of the electronic portal and simplified the registration process, as a result of which the 2012 autumn mobility will be maximally streamlined for students.
Registration on the electronic portal is possible using a personal 11-digit number, through which the student will register a username and password and create a corresponding profile. To register their choice, they must select the desired programs.
A student wishing to participate in mobility has the right to choose a maximum of 5 faculties or programs, taking priorities into account. After completing registration on the electronic portal, students will be able to change their programs an unlimited number of times.
For a student wishing to undergo mobility, the state educational grant and state master's educational grant will be transferred to the receiving higher education institution only in the case of transferring to an accredited program.
Students will benefit from a 20% discount on mobility.
Students are exempt from the mobility fee if their families are registered in the unified database of socially vulnerable families during the registration period on the electronic portal for persons to be enrolled through mobility, and their rating score does not exceed 70,000.
