New School in the Village of Chibati
For the 2012-2013 academic year, several new schools were built across Georgia, and hundreds of schools were rehabilitated. Today, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili visited the new school in the village of Chibati and congratulated the students and teachers on the beginning of the academic year.
The old building of the public school in the village of Chibati, Lanchkhuti District, was dismantled a year ago, and a new school was built in its place. The new school building is equipped with modern facilities; the school has a modern heating system, a learning laboratory, a library, a computer lab, and an open sports ground. The school is designed for 300 students.
A new school was also built in the village of Kvabgha, Lanchkhuti District. The old, century-old wooden building of the school had been in a dilapidated state since 1985, and for several years, the 111 students of this school had been studying in a temporary shelter in an uncomfortable environment. Today, the youth of the village continue their studies in a public school meeting modern standards.
The new school is equipped with modern facilities, and features a library, a computer lab, and a sports ground. The new school is designed for 150 students.
