Awarding successful pupils

Awarding of exemplary students continues
As a gift from the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, personal computers were awarded to tenth-grade students from the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Adjara, and Guria regions who completed the basic education stage (7th, 8th, and 9th grades) with honors. The personal computers were presented to them by Nata Asatiani, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. A total of 1,468 successful students across Georgia are being awarded computers.
In 2013, the beneficiaries of the program were defined as public school students who completed the basic education stage in the past academic year and whose grade point average for the stage is 10 points (without rounding).
The goal of the student incentive project is to promote higher student motivation and strengthen teaching and learning methods based on information and communication technologies. By increasing access to modern technologies, the project creates equal learning conditions for all talented and hardworking youth.
