Working meeting held with European Union representatives
The meeting was held within the framework of a new European Union initiative, which entails a detailed analysis of projects implemented in Georgia between 2007 and 2013 (including those implemented in the fields of education and science). Based on this analysis, the country's strategic document will be evaluated, and recommendations will be prepared to improve the process of future joint programs.
The importance of the project is determined by the fact that, following the Association Agreement with Europe, the responsibility of the Georgian side will significantly increase in the process of jointly planning, implementing, and evaluating the results of European Union assistance programs. This primarily entails strengthening capacities related to project monitoring and evaluation, both within the structure responsible for overall coordination and directly within the agencies implementing the projects.
