Ministry Statement Regarding the Temporary Suspension of Studies

An analysis of the existing statistical data reveals that the number of infected individuals has decreased in the capital. In the regions, while the number has not increased, no decrease is being recorded either. In order to prevent the complication of the situation in the regions, the Ministry of Health recommends that learning at the primary education level (including grades I-VI) be suspended until May 30. All schools will be informed of this decision today in the evening through the resource centers. Regarding the missed hours, based on the recommendation of the Ministry of Health, amendments will be made to the National Curriculum, and the missed time will be considered excused.
