The Prime Minister on the Construction of the Tsipnari School

Four families have returned to the village of Tsipnari in the Chokhatauri Municipality following the commencement of school construction, as became known during the Prime Minister's visit to the village.
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Minister of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze inspected the construction of the Tsipnari village school today. Tamar Sanikidze explained to the Head of Government that the village school building was in a severely dilapidated condition; therefore, the educational process was being conducted in the kindergarten building, which failed to meet basic requirements for a school. The village had been waiting for the construction of a school for 20 years, causing the population to leave the village.
In 2013, the old building was dismantled, and the construction of a new school began. Designed for 60 students, the school covers an area of 1,000 sq. m. The completion of construction is planned for October of this year.
This year, the construction of schools in the villages of Zoti and Shua Amaghleba will begin in the Guria region. Additionally, 18 schools in the region will undergo full rehabilitation.
The Prime Minister also spoke with the local residents gathered in the schoolyard and familiarized himself with their problems. The residents asked the Prime Minister to asphalt the internal road and provide gasification for the village.
