celebrates World Environment Day

In connection with World Environment Day, organized by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), several events were held in Borjomi, in which Lia Gigauri, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, participated.

The guests visited the village of Daba, where the restoration of the forest destroyed during the 2008 conflict is underway. The guests also met with the local population and youth eco-clubs, whose participants are students of the Borjomi Public School.
