First-grade registration additional deadlines are announced

For the attention of those parents who, for various reasons, failed to ensure the registration of their child in school within the deadlines established for first-grade registration, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia announces that September 1 and 2 have been set as additional registration periods for first-graders.
For registration, the child's parent or legal representative must apply to the school and, in the event of available vacancies, submit the documentation required for enrollment in a general education institution.
We remind you that students who turn 6 years old before January 1, 2015, or who studied in a private school preparatory class in the 2013-2014 academic year and have turned 5 years old, have the right to register.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia urges all parents whose children's age meets the requirements defined by law and who are not yet registered in a school to apply to schools on September 1 and 2 and not leave their children outside the general education space.
