The Ministry of Education signed a memorandum with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation
Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lia Gigauri and Regional Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Office Canan Atilgan signed a memorandum of cooperation, the purpose of which is to promote the improvement of the quality of civic education teaching in public schools of Georgia.
Based on the memorandum, cooperation between the parties will be further deepened within the framework of the civic education support project.
The memorandum provides for the creation of the primary education social sciences standard, teaching materials, supplementary methodological materials, and other educational products, as well as supporting the process of developing related documentsโspecifically, organizing expert activities, working meetings, and public events both in Tbilisi and in the regions of Georgia.
The said project will be funded by the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
