Memorandum between the Georgian and Austrian Parties

According to the memorandum, the parties will promote the exchange of experience and the transfer of innovations in the field of education on both political and expert matters. Special attention will be paid to the development of the education system structure, curricula, didactic materials, and the improvement of the quality of education.

Within the framework of the memorandum, direct relations and cooperation will be established between Austrian university colleges and Georgian teacher training institutions. The Austrian side will offer Georgian teachers German language training seminars at all levels. The parties will intensively share experience in the field of vocational education, including in the sectors of agriculture, forestry, viticulture, and tourism.

Through school partnership programs, the parties will support each other in strengthening contacts between Georgian and Austrian schools and in participating in multilateral school networks. Both parties will also facilitate the participation of their representatives in international conferences, meetings, and competitions organized by the other party on educational issues.
