The dormitory of College "Iberia" will undergo complete rehabilitation
The "Iberia" Public College is located in the city of Kutaisi. The city connects Racha-Lechkhumi, Svaneti, Samegrelo, and Guria. The Imereti region itself includes 11 administrative units. Consequently, hundreds of students from various regions and cities enroll in the college every year.
The existing student dormitory is not rehabilitated, and the building lacks all the necessary conditions for living. Therefore, the college cannot provide accommodation for students in the dormitory. Once the building is rehabilitated, this problem will be resolved, and all interested applicants will be provided with housing, which will increase the college's student body and the visibility of its activities.
During the autumn admissions, 440 students enrolled in the "Iberia" vocational college, among whom about 100 students are from the regions and require accommodation in the dormitory.
The professions at the college are selected taking into account the demands of the regional labor market. Instruction is conducted in the following specialties: Cook, Confectioner, Agronomist, Beekeeper, Hotel and Restaurant Service Administrator, Electrician, Painter, Tile Setter, Plasterboard Specialist, Plumber/Fitter, Chassis Technician, Engine Repairer, Automotive Mechanic, Mason, Carpenter, Welder, Gas Supply System Installer, Garment Specialist, Refrigeration Equipment Technician, Stylist, Accountant, Computer Graphics Designer, Office Manager (Secretary-Referent).
The vocational institution with renewed infrastructure is equipped with a modern material and technical base and staffed with qualified and trained teachers.
