Competition โLet us become a poem this yearโ
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has assigned the name of Lado Asatiani to the public school of the village of Bardnala in the Tsageri district. The naming coincided with the celebration of "Ladooba." In honor of the great Georgian poet Lado Asatiani, the residents of Lechkhumi celebrate "Ladooba" every autumn. This year was particularly special in Lado's native village of Bardnali.
On the day of the "Ladooba" celebration, at the initiative of the students of the Bardnala Public School, a campaign titled "Let Us Turn into a Poem This Year" was launched. Within the framework of this campaign, students invite their peers to recite poems by their favorite Georgian poets. Those wishing to participate in the campaign can send a video recording of themselves reciting a poem to the email address: [email protected]
On December 19, 2014, at 18:00, the three winning videos with the most likes will be announced. The winners will be awarded monetary prizes, and the school of the student who takes first place will receive a certificate of honor.
