Certificates were awarded to the trainees of the School of State Administration
A graduation ceremony for trainees was held at the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration. Certificates confirming the completion of specialized courses were presented to 71 public servants employed in various regions of Georgia by Ketevan Natriashvil, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Eliso Chapidze, Member of Parliament of Georgia, and Shota Murghulia, Mayor of Kutaisi.
The retraining of trainees at the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration is conducted in the following directions:
- Management of public organizations;
- Financial management and internal audit for public servants;
- State procurements;
- Human resource management and office procedures in the public sector.
Starting from November 28, the School will admit 50 trainees. The graduation of the fourth cohort will take place on December 26.
The mission of the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration is to support the implementation of the state strategy, which envisions the retraining and professional development of persons employed in local self-government bodies, commercial and non-commercial organizations managed by them, and territorial bodies of executive government institutions.
A priority of the School is to overcome the shortage of qualified personnel in regions compactly populated by ethnic minorities and in high-mountainous regions through the retraining of public servants.
The integration of ethnic minorities into the common public space is served by 8 regional training centers operating in Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kvemo Kartli, and Kakheti. The state language learning program in the regional centers is implemented for persons employed in the public sector. The goal of the state language course is for trainees to deepen their knowledge in order to fully perform their official duties, draft letters, and prepare various documents.
Successful graduates of the regional centers are given the opportunity to take an intensive state language course and continue their studies in specialized courses at the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration in Kutaisi.
