Campaign “No to Violence!”
Within the framework of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' campaign "No to Violence!", a conference entitled "Religions Against Violence!" was held at the Georgian University of St. Andrew the First-Called of the Patriarchate. The conference was attended by representatives of 10 religious denominations operating in the country, the Government of Georgia, the diplomatic corps, international organizations, and the public.
The event was initiated by the Georgian Orthodox Church and the religious denominations operating in the country. Since spirituality and faith occupy an important place in human life, it was decided at the meeting of the interreligious group to implement joint actions to overcome the common problem.

It was noted at the conference that it is important to increase public awareness, unite representatives of various social strata and religious confessions against violence, combine efforts, and, particularly among adolescents, raise the level of knowledge regarding the disastrous consequences that violence against human beings entails.
