The Minister's Gift to the Young Patients of the Iashvili Clinic
The introduction of inclusive vocational education was initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia in 2013, and already by 2014, over 150 persons with special educational needs and disabilities enrolled in the system to receive vocational education. It is noteworthy that a large number of students with special educational needs choose culinary arts and felting technology as their professions.
For the second year, education has also become accessible to children suffering from leukemia; a special school has been established for them at the Iashvili Clinic, where children receive educational services on-site and return to their own schools upon recovery. The Minister and other representatives of the Ministry constantly care for young patients who require special attention and support.
