Railway-Technical Vocational College will be established

The new vocational college will be established in Tbilisi and will feature European standards, relevant educational programs, infrastructure, and brand-new management. The college will implement so-called dual education programs, which operate successfully in Germany and provide for the involvement of both the state and the employer in the process, as well as supplying students with industrial practice, among other features.

According to the memorandum, Georgian Railway will participate in the project with its entire infrastructure and laboratory base, where students will undergo industrial practice. Under the agreement, the railway will also act as an employer for graduates. The Technical University will implement the educational process in the vocational college with its personnel, while the Ministry of Education will provide the vocational college with programs.
