A school designed for 1,000 students is being built in the village of Lamabalo
For the eighth consecutive year, more than 1,000 students from the village of Lambalo have been studying in non-standard classrooms set up in residential houses, which are completely unsuitable for the educational process. The school is housed in several rented buildings, and the educational facilities are located several kilometers apart from each other. Students have to study in extremely difficult conditions, which also affects their health status.
The new school building will comply with modern standards, taking into account all details, the specifics of the location, and various nuances. The total area of the territory is 6,438 sq.m., and the area of the school building is 7,113 sq.m. The school building is three stories high and consists of four main blocks. The school will feature a modern heating system, sports and assembly halls with auxiliary rooms, a library, a doctor's office, information technology and natural science classrooms, a canteen, and a 300 sq.m. open sports ground. The building will also be adapted for students with special educational needs, and the entire school territory will be landscaped and improved. In the new academic year, the students of Lambalo will continue their studies in the new building.
There are two sectors in the public school of the village of Lambalo: Georgian and Azerbaijani. There are only 80 students in the Georgian sector, 935 students are Azerbaijani-speaking, and out of 70 pedagogues, 25 teachers are Georgian and the rest are Azerbaijani.
