Tamar Sanikidze at the World Education Forum

According to the forum's founder, former Minister of Education Charles Clarke, the main objective of the forum is to bring together ministers from various countries around the world to discuss common challenges they face and share experiences related to resolving these issues. The 2016 London Forum also addressed educational challenges prevalent in almost all countries, the resolution of which requires joint efforts, experience sharing, and the implementation of new standards.
The main topics of discussion at the forum included: quality education, development of essential skills in students, raising literacy levels, teaching natural and social sciences, ensuring accessibility to education, improving national curriculum monitoring and assessment systems, and others.
“The programs that we have initiated in Georgia over the past 2-3 years are in full alignment with the main directions that are being so actively discussed,” stated the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia regarding the work of the forum.
