The Importance of Vocational Education Discussed at the World Forum

At the meeting of ministers and experts, youth unemployment was discussed as a global problem that must be addressed through the development of vocational skills, upgrading of qualifications, labor market orientation, and the direct involvement of employers. It is precisely high-quality vocational education that helps young people develop these skills and realize their potential.
The meeting reviewed the experiences of various countries, including the projects implemented by Georgia in the field of vocational education. The discussion also focused on new professions and standards, the development of which requires the direct involvement of employers.
โWe are well aware of your experience and the mechanisms through which Georgia is developing its vocational education sector; these approaches are very useful for us as well,โ stated Blendi Klosi, Minister of Social Welfare and Youth of Albania, following the meeting.
