Mikheil Chkhenkeli and Giorgi Sharvashidze opened a European-standard student dormitory
To mark the centenary of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia handed over a European-standard housing complex designed for more than three hundred students to the university. Here, students—including young people from various regions—will have the opportunity to enjoy an interesting lifestyle, engage in sports activities, spend their leisure time creatively, make new friends, and enrich their life experience.
The 320-bed European-standard complex consists of three four-story residential buildings. Public and administrative buildings, as well as a sports ground, are also provided.
According to Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, negotiations with the private sector are already underway, and with their participation, the construction of a 3,000-bed dormitory is planned for various educational institutions, including international students. The Minister is confident that such state support will undoubtedly have a positive impact on students' academic performance.
