Meeting of Director General Zviad Gabisonia with the professors and teachers of GTU and SDASU.

Within the framework of the education reform, Zviad Gabisonia, Director General of LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, held a meeting with the professors of the Georgian Technical University (GTU) and the Sokhumi State University (SSU). Zviad Gabisonia introduced the scientific community to the planned changes in the direction of "Science" within the framework of the education reform. He presented new projects and initiatives planned for implementation by 2019. The meeting was held in a Q&A format. The Director General of the Foundation focused on ensuring the involvement of the private sector in research and the issue of research commercialization. He also presented the Foundation's new initiative regarding the establishment of the electronic peer-reviewed scientific journal "Georgian Science" and the introduction of nominal scholarships.
