The Educational Component in Museum Educational Programs

"The unification of the ministries has many positive aspects. It is important to strengthen the cultural component in educational curricula. This is an opportunity for children to receive education outside the school curriculum," – stated Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, at the plenary session of Parliament.

According to the Minister, much needs to be done in the direction of cultural values. A number of projects have already been launched for extracurricular activities. Children are involved in educational programs available in national and various other museums.
