Mikheil Batiashvili: "Today you staged a performance once again, sent people to the Ministry, and are showing us an edited video—snipped seconds instead of 10 minutes."

The edited video shown in Parliament by MP Sergi Kapanadze was called a lie by Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, because the material presented by him was incomplete and had a biased character.

“Today you staged a performance once again, sent people to the Ministry, and are showing us an edited video—seconds torn out instead of 10 minutes. The video is much longer, and if it were shown in its entirety, a completely different picture would emerge. If you have the ability to air this material, air it to the end. Yes, you were asked for a document there, should one exist; however, your letter would also be accepted without a document, which is what actually happened. I urge you to show the public the full video where all of this is reflected. However, you are staging performances once again and manipulating again, shame on you!” stated the Minister.
