Meeting with World Bank Representatives
On February 12, a working meeting was held at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia within the framework of a preparatory project under the auspices of the World Bank. The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers Irina Abuladze and Natia Zedginidze, as well as representatives of the World Bank.
During the meeting, the activities, objectives, and components of the new educational program “Georgia IQ: Inclusion, Innovation and Quality Project” were discussed. This program provides for the development of quality and accessibility in early childhood education and childcare, support for teaching and learning methods in general education, strengthening the financing and accreditation capacities of higher education, improving educational infrastructure, and enhancing behavioral change in the teaching process regarding quality and innovation.
Working meetings regarding this project with World Bank representatives will continue.
