British experts are becoming increasingly involved in the field of vocational education
With the support of the UK Government's Good Governance Fund and the active involvement of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the British Council is organizing trainings aimed at establishing a team of teacher-mentors for vocational institutions, implemented within the framework of the "English for Employment in Vocational Education" program. The project aims to improve the English language proficiency of vocational students through the reform of vocational education curricula and the establishment of a continuous professional development system for teachers.
At this stage, a British expert is conducting trainings both for those employed in the field of vocational education and for potential mentors who wish to contribute to the development of the sector in Georgia. The participants represent Tbilisi, as well as Adjara, Samegrelo, and Kakheti.
