A support service model for SEN and PWD students has been created

Within the framework of the "Program for the Promotion of Inclusive Education", the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia has developed a support service model for students with special educational needs and disabilities. Representatives of higher education institutions were introduced to the project today.

The model was developed in cooperation with the organization "Mariani" and is based on local and international legislation related to the provision of inclusive higher education for students with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as the experience of higher education institutions. It reflects the ways of introducing basic and essential standards that enable the successful and dignified inclusion of students with special educational needs and disabilities in higher education.
