Cultural and educational relations between Georgia and Germany will be deepened further
Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, who is on an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany together with the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, met with German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel along with the President and other members of the delegation.
During the two-day visit, at the meeting of high-ranking officials, discussionsโamong other issuesโfocused on bilateral cooperation in the fields of culture and education, which represents one of the priorities of the Georgian government.
The parties discussed issues concerning Germany's active support and assistance in Georgia's European Union integration process.
