Registration for the 2019 examinations will begin on March 12

Registration for the Unified National Examinations, the Common Masterโs Examinations, and participation in the state grants competition for students will begin on March 12, 2019, at 10:00 and will last until April 3, 18:00. Applicants wishing to participate must register electronically on the websites of the National Assessment and Examinations Center (www.naec.ge and online.naec.ge).
This year, the registration process for entrants will once again be conducted in several stages: during the first, main stage, entrants will be able to enter their personal data, select their examination city, and choose the subjects they will take. After April 3, entrants will no longer be able to change their examination city; however, until May 7 at 18:00, they will be able to add an examination or change a subject. As for the list of educational programs, entrants will have the opportunity to specify and modify educational programs in their registration application until the end of the day following the publication of appeals results. Entrants will be able to view information regarding the number of applications submitted for programs through a special system โ starting from the launch of registration, a webpage will be operational featuring updated information on the number of applications submitted for specific programs.
An information guide will be published on the Centerโs website (www.naec.ge), which entrants should use as a reference when making their choices. The guide includes registration instructions, frequently asked questions, a list of educational programs, etc. A printed version of the guide (โEntrant's Guideโ) has also been published.
Important Update:
In the event of selecting two or more elective examination subjects and failing any of them (failing to cross the minimum competency threshold) or failing to appear for the examination in any of the elective subjects, the entrant will still retain the opportunity to receive a state study grant.
In 2019, changes will apply to four examinations (Georgian Language and Literature, Literature, Geography, and Foreign Languages). An analysis of previous years' tests and discussions of these examination results with educators have shown that, in order to better assess the knowledge and skills of entrants, it is advisable to introduce certain modifications to these examination tests. Despite these changes, the established percentage threshold for minimum competency will not change.
Those wishing to participate in the Common Masterโs Examinations must register by April 3 at 18:00. After the registration deadline expires, master's candidates will no longer be able to register. Registered candidates will be able to change their test type until May 7 at 18:00.
