Georgia joins the Council of Europe awareness-raising campaign

The Council of Europe project "Combating Discrimination, Hate Motivated Crimes and Hate Speech in Georgia" aims to share experience, develop capacities, advocate, and raise awareness.

In the direction of awareness-raising, today, on March 21, the campaign "I Choose Equality" is launched. The aim of the campaign is to raise public awareness, promote intercultural dialogue on diversity and tolerance, and inform minority groups about their rights and legal mechanisms.

Within the framework of the campaign, regional meetings, competitions, small grants, celebration of thematic days, creation of alternative narratives, and much more are planned. The campaign will continue until December 2021.
