Professional Development Course - "Leadership Academy"
Over 1,800 public school directors, an equal number of facilitators, and representatives of educational resource centers completed the professional development course “Leadership Academy” between 2016 and 2019. Today, the course participants were presented with respective certificates by Irina Abuladze, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.
The professional development program is a project of the “Millennium Challenge Fund - Georgia” and was implemented by the National Center for Teacher Professional Development.
The trainings helped school directors improve their competencies in various areas, such as efficient management of time, finances, and human resources; enhancement of a student-oriented learning environment; introduction of innovative and interactive methods in the school; and implementation of a monitoring and evaluation system focused on long-term development.
