Information campaign against early marriage has been launched
On the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the information campaign "Do not deprive them of their childhood" against early marriage has been launched. The campaign will symbolically last for 18 days and aims to raise public awareness about the harmful consequences of marriage at an early age and crimes related to early marriage.
According to Irina Abuladze, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the Ministry will actively participate in the campaign. To raise awareness, information meetings will be held with students, teachers, principals, and representatives of resource centers, focusing on the importance of timely response, preventive measures, engaging students in formal and informal activities, and other related topics.
