"Culture Without Borders"

Starting from June 18 of the current year, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia, the project “Culture Without Borders” initiated by LEPL “Giorgi Leonidze Museum of Georgian Literature” is being implemented. Within the framework of the project, a series of events are planned to be held in the Shida Kartli and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regions.
The events envisaged by the second stage of the project were held on September 6 in the villages of Tkaia and Rukhi, as well as in the city of Zugdidi, where scientists Nato Marshania, Lia Akhaladze, and Manon Buliskeria met with the local population and spoke about Georgian-Abkhazian cultural and historical relations. Additionally, various types of exhibitions and recent Georgian short film screenings were organized.
The concluding part of the project was a summary concert held at the Pupils and Youth Center in the city of Zugdidi. It was attended by Zviad Bolkvadze and the musical band “Newton”. The event was also attended by young people internally displaced from Abkhazia living in Zugdidi and its surroundings.
