Statement of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia

The educational process in Georgia's educational institutions will begin on September 16.  For the new academic year, full and partial rehabilitation was carried out in up to 700 schools across Georgia on an unprecedented scale.

Due to ongoing rehabilitation works, the start date of the educational process across Georgia may be postponed by only two weeks in isolated cases (in up to 20 schools).  In such schools, the missed lessons will be made up on Saturdays according to the respective lesson schedule.

The school administration, based on the Ministry's instructions, will ensure that parents are informed about this matter.
